Indeed, Los Blancos’ defensive mainstay, Antonio Rudiger, starts at the heart of the German defensive line. Coming on the back of a starring display in the Round of 16, the 31-year-old will be eager to thwart Lamine Yamal & co. today.

Former Real Madrid midfielder and club legend, Toni Kroos, also features for the hosts of the tournament.

As for Spain, Real Madrid full-back Dani Carvajal features in the backline in what is his first-ever UEFA Euro tournament.

The Spanish right-back has been an influential performer for Luis de la Fuente’s side so far in the competition but will have to go up against the dangerous Jamal Musiala tonight.

There is no space in the starting XI for former Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernandez while Joselu, who also left the club this summer, finds himself on the bench as well.
