Adrien Rabiot and Max Allegri are reunited once again.
Allegri has been looking for Rabiot for weeks and today – on the transfer deadline day – Igli Tare managed to bring the Frenchman to Milanello.
The official announcement reads:
“Milan is delighted to announce the permanent signing of Adrien Rabiot from Olympique Marseille. The French midfielder has signed a contract with the Club until 30 June 2028.
“Born in Saint-Maurice (France) on 3 April 1995, Adrien learned to play in French academies, before joining Paris Saint-German, making his first-team debut for the club in 2012. After a season on loan in Toulouse, he returned to PSG and racked up 227 appearances and 24 goals, winning Ligue 1 five times, two French Supercups, five League Cups and four Coupes de France. In 2019, he moved to Juventus, where he made 212 appearances, scoring 22 goals and winning one Scudetto, two Coppa Italias and one Italian Supercup. He returned to France in 2024, competing for Marseille, making 32 appearances and scoring ten goals.
“After completing the French youth system, in November 2016, Rabiot made his senior team debut. He has made 53 appearances and has scored six goals for his country, winning the 2021 Nations League in that time.”
It’s believed that Milan are paying around €10m for Rabiot, who’ll give quality and quantity to the midfield of Milan, which has completely changed compared to last season.
