AC Milan will start their season today away at Sampdoria and the goal, of course, is to bring the three points back to Milan. This morning, Stefano Pioli announced his 23-man squad for the clash.

Alessandro Florenzi, who was announced by the club on Saturday, is included in the squad despite making just two training sessions with the team. Perhaps he will get a few minutes off the bench, depending on the events of the game.

It’s worth noting that Andrea Conti isn’t included in the squad, most likely because he’s expected to leave the club this summer. The likes of Genoa and, fittingly enough, Sampdoria have shown their interest in him.

GOALKEEPERS Maignan, Plizzari, Tătărușanu.

DEFENDERS Ballo-Touré, Calabria, Florenzi, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Kjær, Romagnoli, Tomori.

MIDFIELDERS Bennacer, Castillejo, Díaz, Krunić, Pobega, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

FORWARDS Giroud, Leão, Maldini, Rebić.

The rest of the squad is exactly what you would expect, though, as Ismael Bennacer is included and could perhaps get some minutes off the bench. It will be Rade Krunic from start this evening, therefore.
