On the subject of Sven Botman, Eddie Howe revealing that it was the defender who decided not to have knee surgery in September 2023 when medical staff advised that he should do so. The NUFC Head Coach though confirming that last week’s surgery went well for Sven Botman.

Martin Dubravka – Concerns were raised when the NUFC keeper left the Slovakia squad for ‘personal reasons’ before their second match this month. However, Eddie Howe Has confirmed he is ‘fine’ for this West Ham match.

Lewis Miley – Having picked up a back problem and missing the England Under 20s match against Czech Republic, the 17 year old was reported to have been sent for scans on this back injury. Eddie Howe stating that as things stand, it is still unclear what the injury exactly is.
