AC Milan have announced the full travelling squad for the pre-season tour of the United States of America, with a number of young players being given the chance to impress.

The squad was announced with a USA-themed graphic on the club’s official X account and it shows the 29 players that will be competing.

Milan have three very tough games to play in the USA, as they take on Premier League champions Manchester City, LaLiga and Champions League winners Real Madrid, and Spanish giants Barcelona.

This is Paulo Fonseca’s first ever pre-season tour with Milan and it comes at a very awkward time for the Portuguese coach. With the 2024 European Championship and the Copa America having just happened, many players who took part in those tournaments are still on holiday.

Also, in terms of giving young players a chance in the first-team environment, five of Milan’s most promising youngsters are at the U19 European Championship with Italy right now.

Theo Hernandez, Mike Maignan and Tijjani Reijnders are expected at Milanello on August 3, whilst Alvaro Morata should be there on August 10.

Christian Pulisic and Yunush Musah will be in the USA from July 26, Noah Okafor from July 30 and Rafael Leao from July 28.

Goalkeepers Marco Sportiello, Noah Raveyre, Lapo Nava, Lorenzo Torriani.

Defenders Adam Bakoune, Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi, Matteo Gabbia, Alex Jimenez, Pierre Kalulu, Filippo Terracciano, Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori.

Midfielders Yacine Adli, Ismael Bennacer, Yunus Musah, Tommaso Pobega, Alexis Saelemaekers, Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Attackers Samuel Chukwueze, Lorenzo Colombo, Hugo Cuenca, Luka Jovic, Rafael Leao, Mattia Liberali, Daniel Maldini, Marco Nasti, Noah Okafor, Christian Pulisic.
