Official: Martial Godo leaves Fulham and joins Strasbourg
Martial Godo has officially signed with RC Strasbourg this Monday, September 1, 2025. The Ivorian winger leaves Fulham for good to join Ligue 1. The Alsatian club announced the arrival of the 22-year-old, who thus becomes Racing's 17th signing in this summer transfer window.
Fulham confirmed Martial Godo's departure to Strasbourg on a permanent transfer. The deal was finalized on the last day of the summer window, bringing an end to the young winger's English adventure after just six official matches with the Cottagers.
"The 22-year-old English winger has signed a five-year deal with Racing, joining from Fulham. Spotted by Fulham after impressive performances with Margate FC, Martial Godo quickly made his Premier League debut for the Cottagers. He then shined on loan at Wigan (4 goals, 5 assists). Born in 2003, he has also earned several caps for youth national teams in both England and Ivory Coast. The winger is now tied to Racing until 2030," Strasbourg announced.
On the international stage, Martial Godo has represented the youth national teams of both England and Ivory Coast. This dual eligibility offers him intriguing prospects as his professional career develops.
