La Liga outfit RCD Mallorca have over the last 24 hours made official a pair of deals on the transfer front.

The first comes in the form of a fresh addition to the defensive ranks in Jagoba Arrasate’s squad.

The stopper to have put pen to paper on terms at Son Moix? Marash Kumbulla.

After a fine season on the books of Espanyol last season, Mallorca recently opened talks with AS Roma over bringing Kumbulla back to Spain for the 2025/26 campaign.

And as alluded to above, early this week, confirmation of a deal for precisely as much has been forthcoming online.

As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of the Bermellones, Albanian international Kumbulla has joined the club on a year-long loan featuring an option to buy.

As alluded to above, though, the transfer business at Son Moix does not end there…

This comes with a departure from the goalkeeper ranks in Arrasate’s squad having also been confirmed.

After securing reinforcements between the posts in the form of Lucas Bergström this summer, the Mallorca brass have allowed Dominik Greif to seal a move to France, with Olympique Lyonnais.

The transfer comes in the form of a permanent one, with shot-stopper Greif having penned terms with Lyon through the summer of 2029.
