Official | Mainz 05 sign Jae-sung Lee on a free transfer

Mainz 05 have announced the signing of 28-year-old South Korea international Jae-sung Lee on a three-year contract until 2024 after three years at 2. Bundesliga side Holstein Kiel.

“His qualities as a player make him a real asset to our team,” said sporting director Christian Heidel. “He is very intelligent, moves well between the lines as an offensive player and gets into the box. He’s also a tireless, strong pressing player and it passionate in the tackle. We are very happy that he is at Mainz.”
