Juventus have completed the signing of Kosovar winger Edon Zhegrova from Lille, for a fee of around €15 million plus a further €3 million in bonuses.

Zhegrova is one of two big deals the Bianconeri wanted to get wrapped up on deadline day, alongside that to bring Leipzig forward Lois Openda to Turin.

26-year-old winger Zhegrova joins the Old Lady after the club deposited his contract with the league, making the Kosovar international’s move to Turin official.

On their official website, the Bianconeri welcomed the winger: “Zhegrova brings flair, speed and a technical repertoire that will enhance Juventus’ attacking potential. Capable of playing on both flanks, he will be a new weapon in coach Igor Tudor’s arsenal.”

According to various outlets, one of the major factors in getting a deal over the line was the player’s desire to join Juventus, as the Kosovar becomes the latest of a number of strong signings the club have gifted head coach Igor Tudor with this season.
