AS Monaco have completed the signing of Jordan Teze (24), who joins from PSV Eindhoven in a deal reported to be worth around €12m, including add-ons.
Teze becomes Monaco’s fifth signing of the window, following the arrivals of Lamine Camara, George Ilenikhena, Paris Brunner, and Christian Mawissa. The Principality club had been in the market for an extra defender in order to provide competition and depth for the players already at the club.
Now-former PSV defender Teze became a key target for Les Monégasques, who appreciated his versatility and ability to play not only in a back three, but also at right-back. He has signed a five-year deal with Monaco, tying him to the club until the summer of 2029.
He leaves formative club PSV after having made 189 appearances across the span of seven years. In that time, he scored four goals and made 23 assists. The Netherlands international will wear the No.4 shirt.
