Wingback Nicola Zalewski joined Inter Milan in January of this year. He made the switch on an initial loan deal from Roma.

Zalewski featured at left-wingback, right-wingback, and even in attacking midfield over the second half of last season under departed Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.

Then, in the summer, the Nerazzurri signed Zalewski on a permanent basis. They reportedly exercised a purchase option to buy the 23-year-old outright for a fee of around €6.5 million.

Now, however, Inter have already sold Nicola Zalewski.

In the last couple of days, Atalanta have come forward with a strong interest in signing the Polish international.

Furthermore, the negotiations have progressed very quickly.

Therefore, it has only taken a couple of days for the clubs to reach and an agreement, and for the player to sign his contract with Atalanta.

Inter confirm that Zalewski has left on a permanent deal. They do not announce the fee, but widespread reports indicate that it is in the region of €17 million.
