Marseille have reportedly joined Galatasaray, Lille, and Neom in the race to sign Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard.

This according to French outlet L’Equipe, via FCInterNews. They report that the 29-year-old wouldn’t turn down the move to the Ligue 1 club.

In the last couple of weeks, rumours regarding Benjamin Pavard’s future have started to heat up.

The 29-year-old only just signed for Inter Milan two years ago. The Nerazzurri signed him from Bayern Munich in 2023.

And Pavard, when fit, has been a key player under departed Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.

However, there is perhaps a feeling that the France international cannot guarantee regular availability.

And furthermore, Pavard may not suit the playing style under new coach Cristian Chivu as well as he had done that of Inzaghi.

A few clubs have shown an interest in signing Pavard this summer.

Among them have been Galatasaray, Lille, and Neom.

However, according to L’Equipe, new suitors have emerged to sign the Frenchman.

Marseille have joined Lille in trying to bring the Frenchman back to his home country.

L’Equipe report that the negotiations still have not gone far.

However, the outlet does anticipate that Pavard himself would be open to the switch.
