Official – Inter Midfielder Stefano Sensi Completes Sampdoria Loan Move

Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi has officially completed his loan move to Sampdoria for the rest of the season.

This is confirmed by the Nerazzurri on their official site, where they announce that the 26-year-old will make the switch to the Ligurian club until the end of the season.

Sensi has found playing time hard to come by this season due to both injuries and the wealth of midfield options ahead of him in the squad, and he has been linked with a loan move away in search of regular playing time for much of the January window.

Sampdoria have been the club most keen on the midfielder’s signature, and he will join returning Blucerchiati coach Marco Giampaolo for the rest of the campaign.

The move had already looked close prior to the Nerazzurri’s Coppa Italia clash with Empoli in which Joaquin Correa was injured and Sensi scored a dramatic extra time winner.

Correa’s injury caused the Nerazzurri to temporarily reconsider their strategy for the January transfer window and put Sensi’s move on hold, but now he has left for Sampdoria on a dry loan for the rest of the season.
