Hugo Ekitiké (21) has signed for Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt in the last moments of the German transfer window, according to L’Équipe.
The deal for the young striker was completed shortly before the closure of the Bundesliga window (18:00 CET) and the player is already in Frankfurt to sign the contract and undergo medical tests.
The deal is for a loan with a mandatory buy option, including a sell-on clause of 30M€, reports RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins
As reported in GFFN earlier this week, Paris Saint-Germain had been actively working on solutions for the talented Ekitiké, with the forward being offered to several European clubs, including Manchester United.
Ekitiké has played just eight minutes of football for PSG this season, having been pushed down the pecking order by the likes of Randall Kolo Muani, Goncalo Ramos, Marco Asensio, and of course Kylian Mbappé.
Eintracht currently sit in sixth in the German Bundesliga, occupying the last European spot.
