Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin have today announced the signing of 24-year-old German midfielder Suat Serdar from Schalke on a permanent basis on a contract until 2026.
“Suat is a skilled player with the ability to control a game from midfield and who can serve for surprise. Although he is coming off a difficult season, he has a lot of potential and strength, which have allowed him to become a full Germany international already. He will add flexibility and momentum to our midfield,” said Fredi Bobic.
Serdar has played 83 games in all competitions for Schalke and arrives at Hertha Berlin for a reported fee of around €8 million.
