Newcastle United Women have done it again.

The FA official announcement (see below) confirming their latest title win and promotion.

On Saturday the NUFC men’s team hammered Tottenham 4-0, the Newcastle United Women going six goals better with a a 10-0 victory over Huddersfield.

With two games still left to go, the Newcastle United Women now can’t be caught at the top of the Northern Premier Division third tier:

To top it off, the Newcastle United Women doing it in front of their own fans at Kingston Park, consecutive promotions meaning they will be in the second tier next season.

‘Newcastle United and Portsmouth both sealed the title in their respective divisions on another action-packed day of FA Women’s National League action.

The Lasses knew a win would be enough to crown them champions of the Northern Premier Division irrespective of other results, and they duly delivered with a 10-0 win over Huddersfield Town.

Portsmouth were not in action but secured the title thanks to Ipswich Town’s 2-0 victory over Hashtag United, with the Tags needing maximum points to deny Pompey.

Lasses take title

Newcastle United won the Northern Premier Division at the first time of asking to ensure back-to-back FA Women’s National League titles.

The Lasses won promotion to the third tier by winning Division One North last year and continued their winning ways to seal the Northern Premier Division crown in style.

Emma Kelly struck twice before the break to send Newcastle into the break 4-0 ahead before Beth Lumsden and Katie Barker also grabbed doubles to round off an impressive victory.’
