Brighton have today announced the transfer of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nils Ramming (18). The Swedish youth international joins the Premier League club on a reported five-year deal until 2030, where he will earn up to €1m.

Ramming – who was born in London – played 30 games for Eintracht II in the Regionalliga last season, keeping 11 clean sheets.

Upon his arrival at the Premier League club, men’s U21 head coach Shannon Ruth said, “Nils is a talented young goalkeeper, who arrives with international experience at youth level with Sweden and was a regular for Eintracht’s reserve team last season.

“We’re excited by Nils’s potential and now, with the help of our development programme, we look forward to seeing him progress.”

Ramming also comes to Brighton having been around the first team at Eintracht Frankfurt, named in their Europa League matchday squad that faced Viktoria Plzen, Besiktas, RFS and Slavia Prague.
