Official: Barcelona squad list to face Girona | La Liga GW5 | OneFootball

With Barcelona set to lock horns with neighbours Girona in the Catalan derby tomorrow away at Estadi Montilivi, manager Hansi Flick has announced the squad list of players that will be travelling for the match.

The big news is that Ansu Fati has not been included in the list despite having completed full training with the group this week.

It was expected that the 21-year-old attacker would finally play for Barcelona after recovering from injury but will now have to wait for his season debut until next week.

Dani Olmo and Robert Lewandowski, both of whom had some minor fitness issues during the international break, are fully fit and available for selection.

Meanwhile, 16-year-old wonderkid Guille Fernandez has been named in the squad to make up for the absence of Fermin Lopez, who misses out through injury.

Sergi Dominguez, who picked up a knock with Barça Atletic last week, is also fit and on the squad list to face Girona.

Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, Ronald Araujo, and Andreas Christensen are the other notable absentees.
