With each passing game be it at club level or international level, Lamine Yamal continues to make history.

Having become the youngest debutant and youngest goalscorer for the Spanish national team last week, the 16-year-old has now been handed his first start for La Roja against Cyprus.

With this, the Barcelona wonderkid has now also become the youngest starter ever for Spain.

Yamal has been making a lot of waves over the past few months and will now be aiming to leave a mark on his first start for the national team.

Along with Yamal, another Barcelona teenager, Gavi, also finds himself in the starting XI for La Roja against Cyprus.

However, Luis de la Fuente has opted to leave Alejandro Balde out on the bench, with Jose Gaya starting at left-back.

The teenage left-back will be hoping to get some minutes off the bench at a later stage, along with Barcelona teammate Ferran Torres, who was called up to the side following the injuries to Dani Olmo and Marco Asensio.
