Ligue 1 newcomers Auxerre have announced the arrival of 31-year-old striker Nuno Da Costa from Premier League outfit Nottingham Forest, for an undisclosed fee that is not believed to be worth more than €2m.
The Cape Verde international returns to French football, after initially moving to English side Forest from RC Strasbourg.
Da Costa has signed a 2-year contract with AJA, with the option to extend for a further, third year.
Da Costa is able to play across the attacking line, having made 74 Ligue 1 appearances and scoring 14 goals in the process.
He spent last season in Ligue 2 on loan with SM Caen, where he achieved 9 goals and 4 assists over the course of 24 matches.
