Things are moving fast at Barça these days when it comes to player contracts. Gambian sensation Alieu Drammeh has just inked his first professional deal with the Catalan giants.

Alieu Drammeh, born in Medina Lamin Kanteh (The Gambia), celebrated his 16th birthday last Monday. Just two days later, on Wednesday, he put pen to paper on his first professional contract with Barça. The forward, who previously played for the Cadete A side, now steps up to continue his development with the Juvenil squad.

A true diamond in the rough, Drammeh made headlines last April during the U17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, netting a sensational hat-trick against Somalia (5-1). A versatile player, capable of operating on the right, left, or up front, the Gambian embodies the new wave of talents that La Masia is looking to nurture.
