A new suitor have this week joined the hunt for a transfer-linked member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Onze Mondial, who point towards Marc Casadó as the player in question.
Youngster Casadó has of course seen his name reemerge as a central one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the week to date.
This comes after word was forthcoming that, amid mounting interest in his signature from across the continent, Barcelona would be open to the 21-year-old’s sale at the right price.
The likes of West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, in turn, have been tipped as potential landing spots for Casadó.
And as alluded to above, on Thursday, a new suitor have positioned themselves in the fray.
As per a report from Onze Mondial, amid a search for a replacement for the outbound Adrien Rabiot, the board at Olympique Marseille have set their sights on Casadó.
The problem for the Ligue 1 heavyweights is that, despite Barca’s alleged willingness to sanction a transfer, the youngster himself has no intention of going anywhere before the summer is out.
