PSG centre-back Abdou Diallo (27) has sealed his move to Qatari side Al-Arabi SC, the Ligue 1 champions have officially announced. The 27-year-old was expected to leave the French capital after spending last season on loan at RB Leipzig. Because of a serious knee injury, he only logged 15 appearances with the Bundesliga outfit. Ibrahima Diallo’s older brother was not part of PSG head coach Luis Enrique’s plans for the season, and was left out of the team’s pre-season tour of Asia. However, his commitment and professionalism as well as the need for a left-footed centre-back earned him a return to the senior squad recently.
The Senegalese international joined PSG from Borussia Dortmund four years ago in a €32m move. Diallo went on to play 75 games with Les Parisiens. According to RMC Sport, Diallo will sign a four-year deal with Al-Arabi SC. The outlet understands that PSG will receive €15m from the sale of the centre-back. The former Dortmund man will reunite in the Qatar Stars League with his brother Ibrahima – the former Southampton midfielder plays for Al-Duhail.
