Álex Jiménez was one of the best Primavera players last season and the Rossoneri have managed to keep him.

Jiménez had just 5 appearances for Milan in the first team in the 2023/24 season, but still managed to catch the eye of the fans, and more importantly – of the management, which has decided to buy him out from Real Madrid.

The official statement regarding the acquisition of the fullback arrived this Friday. According to AS, Milan paid €5m to keep Jiménez.

“Milan is delighted to announce it has exercised the option to sign Alejandro Jiménez Sánchez from Real Madrid on a permanent deal,” the statement reads.

“Born in Madrid on 8 May 2005 and coming up through the Los Blancos youth sector, Jiménez arrived at AC Milan last season and picked up 19 appearances for the Primavera, contributing to the campaign that saw them participate in the Youth League final. The Spanish player made his senior debut on 2 January 2024 in a Coppa Italia clash against Cagliari, totalling 5 appearances.

“Alejandro Jiménez Sánchez has signed a contract with Milan until 30 June 2028 with the option to extend his stay until 30 June 2029.”
