Noussair Mazraoui fit to face France, Nayef Aguerd and Romain Saïss remain doubtful

RMC Sport are reporting that Morocco full-back Noussair Mazraoui (25) will be fit to face France tomorrow, however, Nayef Aguerd (26) and Romain Saïss (32) are doubts.

The constitution of Morocco’s defence is uncertain just one day before their World Cup semi-final against France. Given Les Bleus’ strength in attack with Kylian Mbappé, Olivier Giroud, Ousmane Dembélé, and Antoine Griezmann all set to start, it is a far from the idyllic scenario for manager Walid Regragui.

However, he has been handed a boost with the return of Mazraoui. The Bayern Munich full-back missed out on Morocco’s 1-0 quarter-final victory against Portugal with a hip flexor problem. He will now make his return against France, according to RMC, having successfully recovered from the injury in time.

However, uncertainties remain over Aguerd and Saïss. The former has a hamstring problem, whilst he is also suffering from flu-like symptoms. The West Ham defender is nonetheless training with the group. Saïss, who had to be withdrawn against Portugal, is suffering from a thigh injury and is also uncertain for tomorrow’s match.
