Nottingham Forest have ‘no intention’ of selling Morgan Gibbs-White this summer despite interest in the midfielder from several Premier League rivals.

Gibbs-White has been Forest’s standout performer since his arrival from Wolves in 2022, with the 24-year-old earning the club’s Player of the Season award in his debut campaign at the City Ground.

Last season, Gibbs-White provided 10 assists in the Premier League with only Ollie Watkins and Cole Palmer creating more goals in the division.

Newcastle have already made enquiries into his availability this summer with the Magpies expressing interest in Gibbs-White and teammate Anthony Elanga.

Arsenal, Aston Villa and Chelsea have also been named as admirers, according to HITC, but Forest will reject all approaches for Gibbs-White who is viewed as an integral part of their project under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Gibbs-White is understood to be happy at the City Ground, while Forest are under no pressure to sell the midfielder after navigating their Premier League PSR concerns earlier in the transfer window.

Forest would demand a club-record bid to part with the influential midfielder, exceeding the £47.5m fee that took Brennan Johnson to Spurs last summer.
