Before the international break, we pitted our special guest Wes Nelson against an AI to see who could most accurately predict the results of Premier League matchday 3.
Wes played a blinder, correctly predicting the scoreline in both Manchester City’s 3-1 win at West Ham and Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Manchester United, and correctly predicting five other results over the weekend.
But he was no match for the machine, who correctly predicted the scoreline in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Brighton, Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw with Wolves and Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, while also correctly predicting four other results.
That leaves the scores (three points for a correct score and one point for a correct result) at 31-26 in AI’s favour after three rounds of games.
Let’s see if this week’s special guest, British-Ivorian DJ, singer, songwriter and Chelsea fan Afro B can make up some ground.
Our AI is powered by Maik mit AI. Check out their website here.
Watch the video to find out what Afro B and Maik mit AI went for in the three biggest matches of the weekend; Southampton v Manchester United, Liverpool v Nottingham Forest and the big north London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal.
