In a striking revelation from Defensa Central, it has emerged that a Saudi Arabian league club is prepared to table a world-record bid of €350 million for Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe.
This staggering amount would even surpass the previously attempted €300 million approach for Vinicius Jr., a sum that already raised eyebrows in the football world for its sheer extravagance.
The motivation behind this astronomical offer is Saudi Arabia’s ongoing push to secure high-profile players who can elevate the league’s global image.
They view the acquisition of Mbappe as a step to solidify their domestic competition as a prime destination for football’s elite.
Reports even suggest they are willing to match, or come very close to, the Portuguese forward’s enormous salary, which is one of the highest in the sport’s history.
As expected, the response from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was swift and uncompromising.

The club’s stance is that Mbappe is absolutely untransferable. Los Blancos regard the Frenchman not just as their most lethal weapon on the pitch but also as their biggest commercial and media asset.
Any sale, no matter the size of the offer, would be a devastating blow to the club’s global brand and long-term sporting ambitions.
The resistance to this transfer doesn’t come from the club alone. Mbappe himself has shown no inclination to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.
His focus is firmly on establishing his legacy among Europe’s elite. The forward’s long-term objective is also to arrive at next year’s World Cup in peak condition, something he believes would be compromised by a move to the Saudi league.
At just 26, Mbappe has his best years ahead of him, and with Real Madrid building a squad capable of dominating both domestically and in Europe, the timing for such a move could not be worse.
