The Canaries are keen on signing the player this summer, but they aren't alone in the race for him.

Norwich City loanee Jacob Wright has said that he would like to join the Canaries permanently from his parent club Manchester City this summer.
The 19-year-old midfielder has impressed at Carrow Road since arriving from the reigning Premier League champions in the winter transfer window. It took him a minute to get up to speed, but he has been used more regularly by Johannes Hoff Thorup of late.
Norwich have an option to buy him in the summer for £2.3 million plus add-ons - an eventuality which Wright himself is keen on. "Yes, 100 per cent," said the teenager told the Pink Un when asked about whether he'd want to stick around at Carrow Road next season.
"I'm really starting to build something nice at the club. I'm enjoying it. It's a good family club. I'm really enjoying the way they play. Hopefully, we can get some better results next season if I am to stay. I'd definitely like to stay, hopefully."
Football League World's Norwich fan pundit, Zeke Downes, would also love to see the Man City teen stay on longer with the Canaries following the conclusion of this season. Downes sees Wright as a great option to succeed Kenny McLean once the time comes.
Wright has reportedly been looked at by other Championship clubs as an option for this summer. City are keen on signing him permanently, as was recently confirmed by the manager, and Downes believes that his side need to be first in line to get the midfielder.
He said: "I think we should definitely sign Jacob Wright on a permanent, especially for the amount of money that it seems to be - it looks like £2-3 million, which could end up being a bargain.
"I don't know whether other clubs have any ability to sign him, but I'd imagine that, because of the clause in his loan, we have that option. If anyone else wanted him they'd have to pay more.
"The fact that Wright wants to sign on a permanent and he's already looking really good, (he's) looking like the perfect McLean replacement, long term. He's very young, got a good footballing education, so I think we'd need to get it done. I think it'd end up proving to be a bargain."
So many Man City academy graduates have left the club before making it to the first team and showed off their immense talents and elite development elsewhere. Fellow Norwich teammate Callum Doyle is a prime example, as are the likes of James Trafford and Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
The Citizens have a strong reputation for producing technically brilliant footballers. To get one of them at 19 for just a few million pounds could be an absolute steal later down the line if Wright develops into the player that he seems capable of becoming. It really is a question of why not?
