Nordi Mukiele returns to PSG | OneFootball

After a season-long loan spell, French defender Nordi Mukiele has returned to PSG. The 27-year-old struggled to make an impact at Bayer Leverkusen at the start of the 2024/25 campaign but and struggled to impress under Xabi Alonso before sustaining a muscle injury that would see him miss the final games of the season.

But despite that, Mukiele played 24 games across all competitions for die Werkself last season and at one point it looked as though the Bundesliga side wanted to sign the defender on a permanent basis but following the departure of Alonso, this is no longer the case.

Mukiele will instead return to PSG where he has a contract until 2027, but it’s likely that the right-sided defender will move on from the French capital with no future playing prospects at the Parisien club. As reported via our colleagues at Get French Football News, Premier League clubs have shown an interest in signing Mukiele.
