There were no promotions from the UEFA Women’s Nations League play-offs, as all the higher tier teams retained their status.

League A/B play-off 2nd leg

Iceland 2-1 Serbia (Agg: 3-2) Norway 5-0 Croatia (Agg: 8-0) Belgium 5-1 Hungary (Agg: 10-2) Sweden 5-0 Bosnia and Herzegovina (Agg: 10-0)

Iceland came from behind to score twice in the last 15 minutes and beat Serbia 2-1 on the day, 3-2 on aggregate.

Norway eased past Croatia 8-0 over the two ties, WSL trio Elisabeth Terland, Sophie Haug (2) and Frida Maanum (2) getting the goals in the home leg.

Belgium repeated their 5-1 first-leg victory over Hungary, Tessa Wullaert’s hat-trick added to by a Jill Janssens brace.

Ties were completed when Sweden played Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday, also matching their away score with Stina Blackstenius and Filippa Angeldahl among the scorers.

League B/C play-off 2nd leg

Ukraine 3-0 Bulgaria (Agg: 7-0) Slovakia 6-0 Latvia (Agg: 9-0) Northern Ireland 1-1 Montenegro (Agg: 3-1)

Montenegro trailed just 2-1 on aggregate after Medina Desic scored in Belfast but Simone Magill’s leveller for Northern Ireland helped keep the Irish up.

Slovakia hit Latvia for six with three goals in either half, to finish with an overall advantage of 9-0.

Ukraine beat Bulgaria 3-0 in their home leg played in Türkiye, to win 7-0 on aggregate and remain in the second tier.
