Ciro Immobile will win the 2019/20 Serie A Golden Boot after Juventus announced Cristiano Ronaldo will not be in the squad for Saturday’s clash with Roma.

Immobile is on 35 Serie A goals for the season and could only have been realistically caught by Ronaldo, who has netted 31.

But with the Scudetto already clinched and a big Champions League clash to come against Lyon next Friday, Juve boss Maurizio Sarri has left the Portuguese out of his squad for the final game of the season.

Also sitting out the Roma game will be Mattia De Sciglio, Matthijs de Ligt, Sami Khedira, Douglas Costa and Paulo Dybala, while Miralem Pjanić is suspended.

There is a possibility Inter striker Romelu Lukaku could still bag the Golden Boot by scoring 13 goals against Atalanta.

Don’t rule it out.
