After signing Nigerian striker Terem Moffi from Lorient, Nice are looking to make another move in the transfer market this deadline day in the form of Wolfsburg left-back Paulo Otávio, according to RMC Sport.

Les Aiglons are keen on bringing in the 28-year-old, as they look to add depth to their left-back options having previously looked to sign Rayan Aït-Nouri, Fabiano Parisi, and Raphaël Guerreiro this month.

The seventh-placed Bundesliga outfit are not opposed to a move for the Brazilian, who has 15 appearances this season, registering four assists in that time. His contract expires at the end of the season, and the former Ingolstadt man has also been the subject of interest from Brighton. The defender has featured 66 times in total for the team since making the move from the second-tier side in 2019, registering his sole goal for the club in the Europa League back in his first season.
