Khéphren Thuram is set to return to OGC Nice’s starting XI when they face FC Metz on Saturday. The France international suffered a knee injury in early December and missed the run in before the winter break. Having come on as a substitute against Girondins de Bordeaux last weekend, he is now ready to start, manager Francesco Farioli revealed.
His return is a welcome one with Nice short of options in midfield in recent weeks. Farioli will also be bolstered by the return of Hicham Boudaoui, who returned from the AFCON on Thursday evening. It remains to be seen whether he will be fit enough to play a part in the fixture.
There are no fresh injury concerns for Les Aiglons, however, Jérémie Boga and Terem Moffi remain absent due to the ongoing AFCON. Youcef Atal will also miss the game after being afforded extra time off following Algeria’s exit from AFCON earlier this week.
