Uefa have charged Neymar for his social media outburst following Paris Saint-Germain’s defeat against Manchester United.
The 27-year-old reacted furiously to the VAR handball decision that ultimately handed United victory, berating match officials later on his Instagram account.
The charge lists Neymar as having committed “insulting/molesting acts against a match official (statements made by the player following the match”.
An official date has yet to be set, but the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body will now hold a hearing to discuss his punishment.
