As reported earlier today, Real Madrid have identified their two main priorities for the summer transfer window of 2025 – a new right-back and a new creative midfielder.
As far as the right-back situation is concerned, it is no secret that Los Blancos want to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, with the player himself said to be keen on making the move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
As for the midfield department, the name of Florian Wirtz had been doing the rounds but he appears set to stay at Bayer Leverkusen for one more season, forcing Carlo Ancelotti’s team to look at alternatives.
Now, AS reports that PSG and Portugal midfield ace Vitinha is a player who could be of interest for Real Madrid to strengthen their midfield.
The 24-year-old midfielder has established himself as a key cog in the PSG setup since his arrival from FC Porto in 2022.

Currently in his third season at the French capital club, Vitinha has a contract that runs until the summer of 2027 and as such is unlikely to come cheap.
While there is nothing concrete from Real Madrid’s end at this point, the Portuguese international is said to be a potential option for the club for next summer.
On the other hand, Martin Zubimendi of Real Sociedad is said to be a more serious option for Los Blancos, who are keen to add more Spanish players to their roster.
The idea is for Real Madrid to sign a player with good footwork and vision, capable of organising the team’s play, similar to what Toni Kroos represented in the squad – something that is not easy to find.
At this point, there are no clear candidates, but there is the certainty that this is the position that needs to be strengthened.
