Neymar’s appeal against a three-game Champions League ban has been rejected by UEFA.

Paris Saint-Germain had appealed his suspension for insulting match officials following their Champions League defeat to Manchester United.

“It is a disgrace, the penalty doesn’t exist,” blasted the Brazilian after the game, resulting in being served with a UEFA ban.

Although PSG attempted to have it overturned or reduced, it has been confirmed that their appeal was unsuccessful.

Neymar didn’t feature in either of PSG’s knockout stage ties against United, which they lost on the away goals rule.

He is currently being strongly linked with a return to former club Barcelona.

That means his European ban could soon become the Blaugrana’s problem if he seals a switch to Spanish shores.
