The 2022/23 Premier League opening weekend sees a huge clash as Newcastle United face Nottingham Forest and we have all the relevant news you need to know ahead of kick-off.
This match is a very exciting one as not only does it see two huge historic sides face each other, it also sees Forest play their first top-flight match for 23 years.
Nottingham Forest has made an abundance of signings this summer, and there will be a lot of fans wondering how quickly they can gel.

Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest will take place on Saturday 6th August 2022 at St. James’ Park. The match will kick off at 3:00 PM UK time/BST.
Football fans in England who cannot attend the game will be sad to hear that the match will be not televised live on TV. This is due to the fact that 3:00 PM games cannot be shown live.
Due to the game not being live, you will not be able to live stream the game in the UK. After the game, highlights of the match will be posted on the YouTube accounts of both sides, as well as on the Sky Sports YouTube account. Newcastle will be without Javier Manquillo and Jonjo Shelvey, whilst Federico Fernandez and Jamal Lewis face late fitness tests.
Nottingham Forest only has one player missing and that is summer signing Omar Richards.
