Burnley were declared FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division runners-up after Nottingham Forest’s midweek loss at Halifax.

Northern Premier Division

Wolverhampton Wanderers 5-1 Derby County (Att: 251)

Olivia Fergusson, Beth Merrick and Tammi George all scored to give Wolves a 3-0 interval lead over Derby, Camille Jenkins pulled one back for the Rams, only for Amber Hughes to make it 4-1 and Merrick get her second of the night with a penalty.

Division 1 South East

Queens Park Rangers 3-3 London Seaward (Att: 102)

London Seaward levelled three times to hold QPR 3-3, the last equaliser coming deep into stoppage time.

Kasha Pettit netted the rebound from Courtnay Ward-Chambers parried shot, following the first set-back Ward-Chambers restored the lead from outside the box. The visitors got their second on 73 minutes and even though Emilia Nygaard-Parsons swiftly got Rangers’ third, they were pegged back again at the end.

Division 1 South West

Portishead Town 0-4 Bridgwater United (Att: 62)

Ellie-Mae Bell had Bridgwater one up away to Portishead at the break, Chloe Snook doubled the advantage with a penalty, Hollie Tappin and Fi Barry later adding one apiece.

Northern Premier Division

Halifax 2-1 Nottingham Forest (Att: 118)

Halifax’s victory over Nottingham Forest means that Burnley finish as runners-up. Freya Thomas had given Forest an early lead but Ellie White levelled with a 75th-minute penalty and Meg Boydell rifled in the winner that lifted her side into eighth place.

Division 1 South West

Moneyfields 1-2 AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth went top by one point but from one more game than title-rivals Exeter City. Kenni Thompson’s opener was cancelled out by Moneyfields’ Kau’inohea Taylor but Molly Barron-Clark netted a first-half winner for the Cherries.
