Which Premier League team is outperforming a rival?

After just over four months of the 2024/25 season, this is how many matches each Premier League team has won and lost, in Premier League AND domestic cup competition (as at 19 December 2024):
14 and 1 Liverpool
10 and 5 Newcastle United
9 and 6 Man City
9 and 7 Tottenham
8 and 5 Forest
8 and 5 Brighton
8 and 6 Villa
8 and 6 Man U
8 and 8 Brentford
7 and 5 Bournemouth
7 and 5 Fulham
6 and 7 West Ham
6 and 7 Palace
5 and 9 Leicester
4 and 7 Everton
4 and 14 Southampton
3 and 12 Wolves
2 and 9 Ipswich
As you can see above, when it comes to domestic competitions this season, Newcastle United are the fourth most successful, when it comes to winning and (not) losing.
