Newcastle United loanee scores again as PSV and Feyenoord play out a 2-2 draw | OneFootball

Newcastle United loanee Yankuba Minteh grabbed his seventh goal of the season for Feyenoord as the side drew 2-2 with PSV on Sunday afternoon. The 19-year-old Gambian has scored six in the Eredivisie now, with two assists. After the draw, the sides remain 10 points apart, with PSV the league leaders .

It was PSV who took the lead early, with another former Newcastle man involved. Striker Luuk de Jong provided the assist for Malik Tillman to open the scoring within five minutes. Just after the 20 minute mark Minteh finished well to bring the sides level. Santiago Gimenez then put the defending league champions ahead in the 61st minute thanks to an assist from Kutsharel Geertruida.

However, their lead only lasted 10 minutes. Guus Til was introduced just after Feyenoord took the lead, with de Jong turning provider to give Til his eight goal in 20 Eredivisie games. Neither side could break the deadlock and it feels that any chance Feyenoord had of turning the rest of the season into a fully fledged title race has now gone.
