Newcastle United friendlies – Burnley make public sixth pre-season NUFC friendly match | OneFootball

Five Newcastle United friendlies had already been announced.

Eddie Howe’s first team squad with five games (see below) between 27 July and 10 August.

Those Newcastle United friendlies against Hull City, Urawa Red Diamonds, Yokohama F Marinos, Girona FC, and Stade Brestois.

Now Burnley have revealed (see below) that they will also play Newcastle United ahead of the new season.

However, this is a behind closed doors friendly and Burnley not giving a date for it.

Burnley FC are pleased to confirm our pre-season preparations ahead of the upcoming season.

The Club will be playing a number of behind closed doors games at the training ground, including fixtures against Barnsley, Celtic, Hearts, Newcastle, and Spanish team Leganes.

The Clarets’ game with the newly promoted La Liga outfit will take place before the squad fly out for a training camp in Spain.

During their time in Spain, Scott Parker’s men will finish their preparations with a game against Cadiz on Sunday 4th August.’
