Newcastle United are trying to secure a double swoop of Chelsea's academy.
The Magpies, cashed up from their Saudi-backed takeover last year, have already taken Dan Ashworth from Brighton to be the club's director of football.
The Sun says Newcastle now want Chelsea academy chiefs Neil Bath and Jim Fraser to revamp their youth system.
Bath, Chelsea's head of youth development, has led a remarkable academy which has produced the likes of Reece James, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham.
Fraser is Bath's assistant and the head of youth recruitment.
Chelsea are regarded as vulnerable because of sanctions placed on owner Abrahmovich.
