Newcastle initiate talks with Juventus over midfielder Ramsey

Newcastle United have inquired about signing Juventus star Aaron Ramsey.

The Welsh midfielder is surplus to requirements at the Italian giants this summer.

According to Goal.com, the Magpies are keen to secure the former Arsenal star.

There is no suggestion whether the move would be a loan deal or a permanent transfer.

It is reported that talks between Newcastle and Juventus are at a very early stage.

Ramsey has a contract until 2023, but his injury issues mean Juventus may want to cash in on him.

But returning coach Massimiliano Allegri may even integrate Ramsey into his first team plans for the season.

Wolves have also been linked with the Wales international.
