Newcastle announce contract release for Achraf Lazaar

Newcastle United have released Achraf Lazaar from his contract.

The left-back has been training with the U23s so far this season as his management team sought to negotiate a contract termination.

And it was announced by Newcastle last night that an agreement had been reached.

Lazaar leaves the Magpies after four and a half years and several loans, which included Cosenza and Sheffield United.
