Roma are still in shock after last night’s collapse of Evan Ndicka on the pitch during the match against Udinese.
The game was suspended in the second half as the Ivorian defender was seen holding his chest and going down on the ground.
Both teams agreed to not play as Ndicka’s condition appeared to be serious and the players was stretchered off the pitch.
With Ndicka’s condition now deemed stable, Roma will be able to think about resuming the game against Udinese in the coming weeks.
However, there is still no new date in sight.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a decision will be made only after the return leg of the Europa League quarterfinals on Thursday night. The outcome of this fixture will determine the scheduling of Udinese-Roma.
Once decided, the match will restart in the conditions it was interrupted – at the 71 minute mark with the same exact formations.
