Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri was unhappy with the way his side’s dropped the three points at Stadio Olimpico in tonight’s 2-0 defeat to Roma.

In his post-match interview with DAZN protested some of the referee’s decision-making that led to his team being down to 9 men.

“I am convinced that Politano had his shirt pulled for 15 minutes. When he got his red card, it was one of our best moments of the match and only we could win at that moment.”

“But I don’t talk about referees, I talk about football. We were not cynical near their penalty area. They only had two opportunities with Belotti and Bove.”

“In the second half we thought we were going to take the lead then it went the way it did, a bit unfair but we move on.”
