Roma are reportedly planning to submit an improved offer for Rennes midfielder Enzo Le Fee, having had their initial bid turned down earlier this week.

Roma improved offer for Le Fee

According to Sky Sport Italia and TMW, Roma director Florent Ghisolfi is particularly keen on Le Fee, a player he knows well from his time working as a director for the player’s former club Lorient in Ligue 1.

Therefore Roma are preparing to submit a second offer in the region of €20m to acquire the Frenchman’s services.

TMW add that the €20m offer is significantly more likely to be accepted by Rennes.

Rennes may also need to sell some players in order to reduce the wage bill this summer, according to the latest updates.

The club had finished fourth, in the Champions League spots, in 2022-23, but suffered a much tougher time in the league in the most recent campaign, eventually finishing 10th with no European football scheduled for 2024-25.
