Napoli reach general agreement for Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano | OneFootball

Serie A giants Napoli have reached a general agreement for Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Italiano.

Il Mattino have reported (via CN24) about Napoli’s managerial chase, stating that Italiano has returned to being the top candidate for the role and CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis is personally doing work in an attempt to hire a new boss soon. He is currently quite sure that Italiano has agreed to join the Partenopei as manager.

The club’s incoming sporting director Giovanni Manna has already agreed general terms with the Fiorentina boss, who will leave the club in the summer. His good relationship with Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso have made sure that the talks between them have been rather positive and La Viola will not stop Italiano from leaving.

Napoli are offering the Italian an initial two-year deal with the option of a third that would only be activated if Fiorentina win the Conference League final against Olympiacos. Italiano was chosen as the manager even last season and that seems to be the case once again.
