Napoli pressing to sign Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat | OneFootball

Napoli are now trying to sign Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United.

Amrabat’s future at La Viola remains quite uncertain, with the Moroccan not called up for the upcoming Serie A game against Fiorentina. He was also not part of the squad which saw La Viola travel to Vienna for their Conference League game against Rapid.

With days left for the summer transfer window to slam shut, Corriere della Sera (via FirenzeViola) have reported about Napoli’s interest in the midfielder. The Partenopei are now trying to push for the Morocco international, with the idea of him heading to Napoli now gaining ground.

The Serie A champions were keen on signing the 26-year-old even when he had joined Fiorentina back in January 2021 from Verona and as the Partenopei look to sign another midfielder, Amrabat is one of the names on the shortlist and it seems as if the player’s name has risen up on that shortlist.
